I have tended to upgrade my iPhones on the “S” year of Apple’s release cycle. I’ve had the 3GS, my first iPhone, and the 4S. I’m currently using a 5S, which has served me well.
So yeah, I’ve ordered myself a bright, shiny new 6S Plus. I’m looking forward to the bigger screen (my 45 year-old eyes will thank me) and 3D Touch. But the feature I anticipate appreciating the most is the optical image stabilisation afforded by the new camera.
Now I just have to reign in my patience for the next couple of weeks.1 Oh well, at least I’ll have OS X El Capitan to keep me occupied.
